New Politics Releases New Single 'Girl Crush'
. In August, New Politics will return for a third time, with new album Vikings set for release on August 14. The Danish punk-influence outfit have already offered up two singles from the new release, "Everywhere I Go (Kings & Queens)" and "West End Kids," with a third sampling of the upcoming RCA release now available to listen. "Girl Crush" is inherently summery, with its hand claps and bouncing rhythm, and content just racy enough to allow teenagers to believe there is some danger involved with the band. The track also features two hooks, a traditionally sung chorus and a more hip-hop inspired refrain. The end result is infectious and immediate, everything that New Politics seem to aim for in their releases. Listen to the new track here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
