(hennemusic) Queen will launch their own beer brand, "Bohemian Lager", in Europe this summer in sync with the 40th anniversary of their iconic 1975 hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The Queen crest that graces the Pilsner lager was designed by late singer Freddie Mercury while he was a student at Ealing Art College in London, where he earned a diploma in art and graphic design.

Brewed in the Czech Republic, "Bohemian Lager" was born out of Plzen in the western half of the country and was previously part of the of Bohemian Kingdom back in the 1840's where it became known as Bohemian Pilsner.

The group describes the new beverage as a "golden hoppy" beer. Recorded for 1975's "A Night At The Opera", "Bohemian Rhapsody" peaked at No. 9 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the UK singles sharts for 9 weeks upon its initial release; it went on to become the UK's third best-selling single of all time.
