The 1965 US No. 1 hit went on to be named the "Offical Rock Song Of Ohio" in 1985, and also serves as the official song of Major League Baseball's Cleveland Indians.

The NFL's Cleveland Browns and NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers both play the track at their home games, and the song has been performed by marching bands at Ohio Stadium tenant Ohio State Buckeyes games for decades.

The Ohio stop is the second date on the Stones' Zip Code tour of North America, which opened at San Diego's Petco Park on May 24. The Stones played a rare club show at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on May 20 as a warm-up to the 15-city stadium tour.

The club date featured what the band billed as a "one-time only set" featuring the original "Sticky Fingers" album in its entirety with additional hits. Check out video of their performance of "Hang On Sloopy" - here.
