.
On Tuesday Garbage Announce Dates For 20th Anniversary Tour was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) It's been two decades since Garbage released their self-titled debut album and to celebrate, the band will be doing a victory lap across the United States.

Dubbed the 20 Years Queer Tour, Shirley Manson and Co. will be hitting cities throughout the fall. Starting in San Diego on Oct. 6, Garbage will play a string of West Coast dates, including shows at Oakland's Fox Theater and Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, and then head east from there.

They'll be stopping along the way in midwestern cities like Chicago (Riviera Theatre), and land in Washington, D.C., where they'll close out their U.S. tour with a two-night residency at the 9:30 Club Oct. 28-29.

Garbage will also mark their 20th anniversary by releasing a special edition of their eponymous first album that's remastered and includes remixes and previously unheard versions of songs.

"Garbage was born out of such unusual elements and unusual circumstances, and we were shocked when the first record became such a success," said guitarist Steve Marker in a press release. "We're just as surprised to be here now, intact, so many years later, enthusiastically preparing to get back on the road with that album and all its attendant b-sides and lord knows what else. A big piece of our lives remains caught up in the making of that record, and we know it holds a special place for the fans that have kept us going for so long. We can't wait. This tour is going to be a blast." Check out the tour dates - here.
