Motorhead's Motorboat cruise will be setting sail aboard the Norwegian Sky from Port Miami on September 28th and that night Slayer will perform on the deck of the ship as the fourth and final "blood moon" lunar eclipse of the current lunar tetrad occurs at 10:47 PM Eastern Time.

Apart from Slayer, Motorhead have added several new acts to the cruise including Corrosion of Conformity, The Shrine, Others, No Words, Budderside, Sonia Harley, The Dead Deads.

They join the previously announced performers Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Hatebreed, Exodus, Phil Campbell's All Starr Band, Crobot, Motor Sister, KYNG, Fireball Ministr and Huntress.

The cruise will also feature comedians Brian Posehn and Big Jay Oakerson and is part of Motorhead's 40th anniversary celebration. Frontman Lemmy Kilmister had this to say, "40 years of Motörhead will be celebrated aboard the Motörboat, so boys and girls, you know what THAT means, right? There won't be a dry throat in the house!"
