Drake and Nas Star In Sprite 'Obey Your Verse' Commercial (Recap)
. With the soft drink rolling out a new "Obey Your Verse" campaign, highlighted by limited-edition cans emblazoned with rap lyrics from the likes of Notorious B.I.G. and Rakim, Sprite has revealed the company's latest ad, starring Drake and Nas performing at a packed club. According to Billboard, the live footage was taken at the Drake/Nas show at New York's Irving Plaza over NBA All-Star weekend this past February. While both rappers appear in the clip, the ad's soundtrack is a heavily edited section of Drake's "0 to 100," with a lyric from that song ("Know yourself/Know your worth") is featured on one of the limited edition Sprite cans. Both artists are Sprite alumni. While Nas' association goes back to that initial '90s campaign, Drake first linked up with soda pop in 2010 for the "Spark" commercial. Watch the new ad - here.
