Holmes Brothers' Wendell Holmes Under Hospice Care (A Top Story)
. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer In 2008 but received the all-clear after treatment and rejoined bassist brother Sherman and drummer Popsy Dixon in The Holmes Brothers. Their most recent album was 2014's Brotherhood. Dixon died In January. Wendell, 72, retired in April after being diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension.
