Janet Jackson will kick off her 36-date Unbreakable world tour on August 31 in Vancouver, British Columbia before making stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego and San Francisco.

This tour announcement comes weeks after Jackson announced she'll be releasing her first album in seven years this fall. It's her first full length LP 2008's Discipline.

This is Jackson's first tour since her greatest hits trek around North America in 2011. Tickets for the tour go on-sale June 22. Check out the full list of tour dates - here.
