Doors Fan Wants To Preserve Jim Morrison's Albuquerque Home (A Top Story)
Morrison died at 27 after a short but illustrious career. He spent a few teenage years in a house in northeast Albuquerque, close to the airforce base where his father worked.
Today, that house belongs to a woman name Thelma Lue. According to an interview she gave to KOAT. Morrison's presence is still there. Her granddaughter told her that late one night she heard an organ playing in a bedroom.
A fan and historian named Anthony Gomez said he would like to convert the house into a historical site. 'Living in Albuquerque for a while, I think he should have a spot here," Gomez said. Read more - here.
