Amy Winehouse Documentary Clip Goes Online (Recap)
. The film, directed by Asif Kapadia, promises to provide a wealth of previously unseen footage of Winehouse, and unheard music as well. Now we have a clip from the film, which features voice over from Nick Shymansky while the footage shows Winehouse in good spirits, joking about how her face appears in the video while she smokes away at a cigarette. "I look like a floating head," she says through a smile, while Shymansky talks about Winehouse's reluctance to admit she was a songwriter in her early days. Recently, Winehouse's family claimed that, 'The narrative is formed by the testimony of a narrow sample of Amy's associates, many of whom had nothing to do with her in the last years of her life. Counter views expressed to the filmmakers did not make the final cut." Watch the clip - here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
