Co-hosted by Sammy Hagar and Metallica's James Hetfield, the event was staged as a benefit for the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.
Cantrell also performed the Alice In Chains tune, "Brother", and the Rolling Stones track "Dead Flowers" as part of his set, and he joined Hetfield for an unplugged version of the 1976 Blue Oyster Cult classic, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper."
The evening at The Masonic also included performances by Joe Satriani, Pat Monahan from Train, Adam Sandler and Linda Perry. Cantrell and Alice In Chains will launch a summer US tour in San Diego on July 17.
