According to BBC News, obvs, sexting, hashtag and vape are among the 6500 new words just added to the newest edition of Collins Scrabble Word List, the first update to the list since 2011.
"Dictionaries have always included formal and informal English, but it used to be hard to find printed evidence of the use of slang words," explained Helen Newstead, head of language content at Collins. Read more - here.
