Indie-rockers Moneen have an early Christmas present for lucky fans in three cities in the U.S.. The band announced that they will perform their first U.S. shows in 5 years next month.

The eastern United States dates will include stops in Philadelphia (Dec 18th), Brooklyn (Dec 19th) and Cambridge, Ma (Dec 20th) with co-headliners Moving Mountains and support from Prawn.

Vocalist and guitarist Kenny Bridges had the following to say, "It's been about half a decade since the last time we played in the States. Can't be more excited to get to play again. Considering I thought we would never get to play the States again these 3 shows are very special for us."

Moneen is touring in support of the forthcoming reissue of their 2003 sophomore album Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now?, which will be released on vinyl LP (180 gram black vinyl with gate fold packaging and printed insert; Limited to 600 copies) for the first time ever.
