Police Raid Lil Wayne's Florida Mansion Recap
The MC, born Dwayne Carter, Jr., has been locked in a legal battle with the Miami-based Signature Group over unpaid bills, and Judge Lisa S. Walsh ruled that Lil Wayne was to pay the company $2 million.
In order to recover the cash the Signature Group asked the judge for a "break order," which gives authorities the right to enter Wayne's house - with or without his permission - to obtain his possessions to the order of $2 million.
Around 3 PM on Tuesday (Nov. 3) police stormed into his mansion, which is currently up for sale, to serve the warrant and to repossess Lil Wayne's belongings. No word on whether Weezy was home at the time. See the photo from a Miami News Producer's Twitter account - here.
