Here is the recap: (Cannonball) Genre blending hip hop act Mickey Lightfoot have released a new music video for a track called "Ashanti Bitxh" which is the first of a new wave of work from the act that addresses the issues around female derogatory terms.

It tackles the turbulence of the modern day relationship, in which in one breath you'll proclaim you love your partner and in the same breath, possibly out of complicit ignorance, you verbally abuse them.

The video is collaboratively shot with recent Warp Records signee, director and musician Giaka. The resulting footage is great fun but also deeply poignant. The instrumental version has already been play listed on MTV with Tieks. Watch the video - here.
