Girls Names Release 'Reticence' Video and Announce World Tour Dates (Top Story)
. The new video for 'Reticence', a track from their 'Arms Around a Vision' album, was directed by Matthew Reed and explores the contrast between human form and machinery. Watch it here. The director had this to say: "The band were keen to do something which drew on a tension between mechanical movement and the more organic rhythm of human bodies. "I then put that concept through a kind of 80s art school filter, which felt in keeping with the mood of the song: using a lot of 16mm film as source material and a slightly old-fashioned approach to montage in the way it's cut." The Belfast group will be kicking off their 2016 live dates with a hometown appearance at the Out To Lunch Festival On January 29th, followed by dates in China, before kicking off a European and UK tour through February. They will then head to Austin, Tx for next year's SXSW festival and will be reveal additional U.S. dates soon. - See the tour dates here. Chromatic submitted this story. |
