On Monday Girls Names Release 'Reticence' Video and Announce World Tour Dates was a top story. Here is the recap: (Chromatic) Post-punk Irish rockers Girls Names have released a new music video and announced plans to hit the road in 2016 with dates across the globe including their return to the SXSW Festival in March.

The new video for 'Reticence', a track from their 'Arms Around a Vision' album, was directed by Matthew Reed and explores the contrast between human form and machinery. Watch it here.

The director had this to say: "The band were keen to do something which drew on a tension between mechanical movement and the more organic rhythm of human bodies.

"I then put that concept through a kind of 80s art school filter, which felt in keeping with the mood of the song: using a lot of 16mm film as source material and a slightly old-fashioned approach to montage in the way it's cut."

The Belfast group will be kicking off their 2016 live dates with a hometown appearance at the Out To Lunch Festival On January 29th, followed by dates in China, before kicking off a European and UK tour through February.

They will then head to Austin, Tx for next year's SXSW festival and will be reveal additional U.S. dates soon. - See the tour dates here.
