Gaslight Anthem Frontman Brian Fallon Announces Solo Tour
. Fallon reveals that he will be recording the new album, which will be entitled "Painkillers", later this year in Nashville with acclaimed producer, singer and musician Butch Walker. The album is expected to be released early in 2016 via Island Record in the U.S. and EMI in the UK. There was no mention in the announcement about other markets. Fallon has announced the initial dates for the supporting tour, which are scheduled to kick off on January 7th in Portland, ME at the Port City Music Hall and so far he has revealed dates that run until January 17th in Nashville, TN at City Winery. Fallon will be backed on the tour by The Gaslight Anthem's Alex Rosamilia, The Horrible Crowes' Ian Perkins and Molly & The Zombies bassist Catherine Popper (Jack White, Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Willie Nelson) and more. He had the following to say about his debut solo album and tour, "I'm overjoyed to be making this solo record. And I can't wait to go out on the road with the new songs I have as well as to get to play the Elsie album live again!"
