Cameron Crowe And J.J. Abrams Teaming Up For New TV Series

(Radio.com) Cameron Crowe and J.J. Abrams are teaming up to create a yet-unnamed comedy series about music roadies for Showtime, according to Consequence of Sound.

Crowe will write and direct the majority of the season's 10 episodes and Luke Wilson will star as the road manager of an arena-sized rock band with Carla Gugino playing the band's production manager.

Other cast members include Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, rapper Machine Gun Kelly and comedian Ron White. Read more here.
