'Degrassi' Co-Creator Disputes Drake's Recent Dismissal Claim
. Degrassi executive producer Linda Schuyler recently offered a different perspective to Drake's last days on the show. Instead of making him chose music or acting, as Drake claimed, she said the production did all they could to accommodate him. 'From my point of view, the timing was absolutely brilliant because we knew Aubrey was juggling his music," Shuyler told Buzzfeed. 'Not only did we know it, we helped him with it." The dispute stems from an interview in W magazine, in which Drake said that his dedication to music lost him his job as an actor on Degrassi. Read more here.
