Adele Believes Amy Winehouse Documentary Went Too Far

(Radio.com) The discomforting film Amy, that documents Amy Winehouse's rise and tragic fall has had an effect on fellow singer and Amy fan, Adele. While Adele continues praise Amy the singer, she said Amy the film went too far into the fallen singer's life.

The documentary Amy, directed by Asif Kapadia, includes patched together early footage of Winehouse and several voicemail messages from the late singer.

"I got super emotional with the funeral footage," Adele told i-D in a recently published interview. "But I wasn't really that into the saved voicemails and stuff like that. I felt like I was intruding so I actually felt a little bit uncomfortable and that ruined it for me. I love watching her, but I kind of wish I hadn't seen it. But you know, I love Amy.
