Aaliyah 'Tribute' Perfume Commercial Goes Online
. Fragrance company Xyrena is advertising a perfume named for the fallen singer. "Aaliyah� by Xyrena is the first and only official fragrance tribute to the Princess of R&B, Xyrena's website reads. While the discerning Aaliyah fans may turn up their noses, the perfume was made in consult with Aaliyah's mother and brother (Diane and Rashad Haughton), according to the site. Xyrena describes an esoteric mix that the company claims falls in line with her image. According to Xyrena, 5% of the $64,00 sales price will be donated to The Aaliyah Memorial Fund. In a post on the website's blog, the company describes itself as "a defiant cosmetics startup that includes the world's first celebrity-partnered on-demand perfumery." Check out the commercial here.
