John Mayer Teases Fans With Grateful Dead's 'Tennessee Jed' Clip

(Radio.com) John Mayer revealed a 15-second clip teaser of The Grateful Dead's "Tennessee Jed" on Wednesday. The song comes as a result of Mayer heading into the studio to rehearse for an upcoming run of shows.

The concerts are set to kick off at Times Union Center in Albany on October 29 before heading to New York City for a handful of shows around Halloween.

Performing as Dead & Company, the project features Mayer and 3/4ths of the original Dead members, Bob Weird, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann. Oteil Burbridge, bassist for the Allman Brothers, and Ratdog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti round out the group. Check out the video here.
