George Strait Announces New Residency Dates
. Strait announced last week that he will be staging four shows at the Las Vegas arena next year; April 22, April 23, September 9, and September 10 with support from Kacey Musgraves. He has now added an addition two dates on December 2nd and 3rd, which will also feature Musgraves as the opening act. Strait had the following to say about the upcoming performances, "I said all along I wasn't going to tour anymore, but I also said that I wasn't retiring by any means and I still wanted to do some dates. "I'm very excited to be coming back out and playing for the fans out there. I'm looking forward to it so much, singing those songs that I love so much and haven't done in a while. I'm really, really looking forward to being able to play in the new Las Vegas Arena. I hear it's just unbelievable. I can't wait." Strait also surprised fans last week with the release of "Cold Beer Conversation" his first new studio album in two years, which was released via Walmart and Apple Music. It also appears that third-party sellers are offering it on Amazon.
