Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong Jams With Joan Jett
. Jett only joined Armstrong for a little while. The two played a brief portion of Green Day's "American Idiot" before segueing into Jett's "Bad Reputation," which became the focus of her time onstage. According to Billboard, Armstrong launched his set with one of the songs he composed for the film, "Devil's Kind." Geezer follows an aging punk rocker as he becomes more of a family man. He and Green Day's drummer Tre Cool along with guitarist Jesse Malin performed other songs from the band's oeuvre before Jett joined them onstage. Speaking about the band's bassist Mike Dirnt, who wasn't able to perform that night, Armstrong told the crowd, 'Mike's gonna be pissed." Check it out here.
