Kenny Chesney And Miranda Lambert Duet At Tour Kickoff

. (Radio.com) Kenny Chesney had a special treat for fans who attended the first stop on his Spread the Love Tour. He had his tourmate Miranda Lambert join him for a duet of his 2010 song "You and Tequila."

Originally sung by Chesney and Grace Potter, fans showed their approval of Miranda's performance with screams and applause. The male country superstar explained why he wanted Lambert on his Spread the Love Tour:

"Miranda was such an awesome addition in Chicago. When I was thinking about what I wanted to do this year, how to keep the energy we had and give the fans something truly great musically, she just made sense. She's a songwriter, a great singer and she loves music every bit as much as I do. In a stadium, those things matter." Watch the duet here.
