Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Red Hot Chili Peppers star Flea performed the Nation Anthem before basketball star Kobe Bryant's final game on April 13th. The performance, more improvisational than traditional, was polarizing, causing a wave of internet backlash.

TMZ's cameras caught up with Flea and asked him about the criticism. "I don't care, man," he said. "I know that people who like music liked it. I thought it was beautiful.
