(Radio.com) Rumors are swirling that Taylor Swift's new album will be released this October, but the head of the country turned pop star's label has shot down the speculation. One intrepid fan tweeted directly at Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta, asking him point-blank if the rumors were true. Borchetta re-tweeted the fan with a simple but emphatic response, "NOPE." October 24th will mark the ten year anniversary of Swift's self titled debut album, so perhaps Swifties can look forward to something special to commemorate the milestone, but it won't be a new album.
