Mary J. Blige Camp Confirms Divorce Reports: Mary J. Blige News

(Radio.com) After 12 years of marriage, Mary J. Blige and Kendu Isaac are parting ways. Blige filed for divorce from her husband and manager, citing irreconcilable differences.

The news about the couple's split emerged last week (July 28) and Blige subsequently issued a statement through her rep. "Ms. Blige is saddened to say it is true that she has filed for divorce, saying sometimes things don't work how we hoped they would. But, there is a divine plan and a reason for everything," her rep told People.

Blige's representative added, "Mary will continue writing and working on her album which is due out later this year along with her world tour." Read more - here.
