On Monday Devin Townsend Project and Between The Buried & Me Tour was a top story. Here is the recap: The Devin Townsend Project announced that they are teaming up with Between The Buried & Me for a North American coheadlining tour that will feature support from Fallujah.

Ahead of the coheadlining run, The Devin Townsend Project will play a series of Canadian dates (and one U.S.) beginning in Kelowna, BC on September 2nd and concluding on the 7th in Minneapolis.

The coheadlining trek is set to kick off on September 9th in Nashville at the Marathon Music Works and will wrap up on October 15th in Vancouver, BC at the Vogue Theatre.

Townsend will be launching the tour in support of the new album "Transcendence," which is set to be released on September 9th. Devin had this to say about the effort:

"Transcendence, like every record I've done prior, is an extension of what's been going on in my world, represented in a new batch of songs. I'm 44 years old now, and this is where I have been over the past two years since Z2." - See the tour dates here.
