U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger ruled that there were "broader dissimilarities in context, structure, mood, melody, and harmony" between the two songs in question (via The Hollywood Reporter), and sided with Paisley, Underwood and the songwriters responsible for their hit.

Amy Bowen (who performs under the name Lizza Connor) initially filed a copyright infringement claim in 2013 concerning her song "Remind Me." Bowen stated how she'd written that song during a 14-week songwriting workshop in 2008.

She performed it before a panel of industry professionals, which included songwriters Kelley Lovelace and Chris DuBois. They would go on to co-write the 2011 single "Remind Me" with Paisley. Read more - here.
