Prince R U Listening Documentary Set To Be Released Next Year

(Radio.com) A new documentary on the late music legend Prince is slated for release in 2017. Prince: R U Listening will focus on the artist's early years and his eventual rise to super stardom as recalled by friends, family and musicians who played with him, Rolling Stone reports. The film will feature interviews with Dez Dickerson, who joined Prince's stage band in 1979 and left the group after the 1999 tour, and Andre Cymone, who played bass in Prince's teenage band Grand Central in the Seventies and toured with the artist through 1981. It will also include interviews with Prince's colleagues and admirers, including Mick Jagger, Billy Idol, Bono, Lenny Kravitz and Sheila E. Read more here.
