(Gibson) Rapper and producer Dr. Dre's friendship with Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine will be at the center of an upcoming, four-part documentary series, called The Defiant Ones. The movie will include interviews with a plethora of musicians from across the musical spectrum, including Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and U2 singer Bono. While both Reznor and Bono may seem to have little to do with Dr. Dre's rap world, the connection lies in the fact both Nine Inch Nails and U2 have released albums via Iovine's record label, Interscope Records. Also, Reznor has worked with Dr. Dre's music company Beats by Dre. Other musicians set to appear in The Defiant Ones include Bruce Springsteen, No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, Tom Petty, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Ice Cube and David Geffen. Read more here.
