(Radio.com) Alan Thicke, TV Star and father to pop star Robin Thicke has passed away at 69, reports TMZ. According to the celebrity news site, Thicke suffered a heart attack while he was playing hockey with his 19-year-old son, Carter. Alan is reported to have played hockey regularly at the rink. The late star has earned tributes from Millennials who grew up watching him on Growing Pains, actors who filmed movies and TV shows with him and recording artists who respected his music. Thicke's son Robin Thicke told the L.A. Times that his dad was 'the greatest man I ever met" and 'always a gentleman." "The good thing was that he was beloved and he had closure," said Robin.
