Samantha Fish Making An Acoustic Album

. (The Blues) Samantha Fish has started work on an acoustic album that she hopes will demonstrate she's capable of much more than the blues she's already known for.

And one of the reasons for stretching her own boundaries is that she doesn't believe the genre should remain static. Fish tells the Daily Record: "It's going to be something different for me. I think it's an honest evolution of where I'm at."

The undated release, featuring a selection of session musicians, follows third album Wild Heart, launched last year. "I felt that I was writing songs that I wanted to write," she says. "I didn't feel that I had to fit into a box. It's a raw, honest record." Read more here.
