Davey Havok Talks New Band With No Doubt Members
. Havok still finds himself explaining how Blaqk Audio is different from AFI. "The obvious difference is that it is completely inorganic," says Havok. "Blaqk Audio is pure electronica whereas AFI uses organic instruments. There's drums and bass and guitar and there's none of that in Blaqk Audio." But Stryker couldn't avoid the big question of the day: what's the story with Havok singing with members of No Doubt? "Just to clarify," says Havok, "I'm not singing for No Doubt." He ashamedly admits the band does not have a name yet but they do in fact "have a lot of great songs" that he's excited about. "We have songs that are fully complete. No name, but complete songs. And, it's just a great time. It's really fun. I don't know what to call it. It's great. I think people will really like it." Read more here.
