Def Leppard Announce Rescheduled U.S. Tour Dates
. Frontman Joe Elliott came down with "severe laryngitis" last month, which forced him to sit out part of the band's inaugural Hysteria On The High Seas cruise and postpone shows in Greensboro, NC and Orlando, FL. The group did manage to perform a January 29 date in Fort Lauderdale, FL before being advised to shut the month-long tour down. "The Doctor basically said that if Joe continues to sing without resting his throat for a month he might do permanent damage," tweeted drummer Rick Allen. The affected dates ran from a February 2nd show in San Antonio, TX through a February 17 concert in Allentown, PA. Def Leppard will now return to the US to play makeup those dates starting May 4 in Lafayette, LA. See the dates here. hennemusic is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. |
