Akon Releases New Track 'Hypnotized' (Top Story)
. Late last week (Jan. 29), Akon released a new track, "Hypnotized," which follows in the footsteps of his other newer releases "Want Some" and "Stick Around." "Hypnotized" has a definite tropical feel that blends traces of reggae, cumbia and electronica to form something well suited to summer. On the chorus, Akon plays with the cadence to mirror the song's rhythm. "Why you gotta feel so right/ Why you gotta, why you gotta, leave me open, why/ Love it when you love me right/ Why you gotta, why you gotta, take over my mind/ Every time," he sings, drawing out the last syllable.
