Luke filed a counter suit disputing the claims, and also sued Sebert for defamation. On Wednesday Dr. Luke's suit against Ms. Sebert was dismissed by a New York Supreme Court justice Shirley Kornreich. However, she may not be out of the woods, as she faces a similar motion in Tennessee.

The next step will in this matter will be a ruling on Kesha's motion for a preliminary injunction so she can record without Dr. Luke, that decision is expected later this month, per the artist's Instagram account. See the post - here.
