Here is the recap: (TeamRock Radio) Korn's Brian 'Head' Welch is to release a book focusing on the years he spent out of the band he co-founded. With My Eyes Wide Open: Miracles And Mistakes On My Way Back To Korn is said to give a "no-holds-barred" account of his departure from the group in 2005, and his subsequent struggles before rejoining Jonathan Davis and co in 2013.

The book, co-written with Carol Traver, describes Welch's "near decade-long trial by fire-from the perils of fathering a teen lost in depression and self-mutilation, to the harsh realities of playing solo and surviving financial ruin."
