And one of the reasons for stretching her own boundaries is that she doesn't believe the genre should remain static. Fish tells the Daily Record: "It's going to be something different for me. I think it's an honest evolution of where I'm at."

The undated release, featuring a selection of session musicians, follows third album Wild Heart, launched last year. "I felt that I was writing songs that I wanted to write," she says. "I didn't feel that I had to fit into a box. It's a raw, honest record." Read more - here.
