On Tuesday BJ the Chicago Kid Release D'Angelo Covers EP was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) R&B upstart BJ the Chicago Kid rang in the new year by celebrating one of his biggest musical inspirations D'Angelo. BJ paid tribute to D'Angelo by releasing a cover of his biggest hit "Untitled (How Does It Feel)" on it's 16th anniversary. The song, which turned D'Angelo into a household name, is featured alongside BJ's interpretations of other D'Angelo songs "Always In My Hair" and "Send It On." "His musicality is beyond this world. I had to celebrate his genius by paying homage to his legacy while he continues to kill the game and make great music," said Kid in a prepared statement. "It's a new year and what better way to start it off than taking it back to where it all began for me. This is real soul/R&B."
