"Ok,ok... It's 'confirmed!' Guns N' Roses is Headlining Coachella 2016!! See Everyone There," wrote Axl in a Tweet. These two shows will be the first time that Slash and Axl have played together since 1993.

The reunion is not a complete return to the classic Appetite For Destruction lineup, with drummer Steven Adler, and guitarist Izzy Stradlin being absent from the bill.

The band confirmed only Axl, Slash and Duff as part of the band on Tuesday. As for who else will be part of the lineup, it has been suggested that current GN'R drummer Frank Ferrer will be participating in the reunion shows. Guitarist Richard Fortus as well as Slash and Duff's Velvet Revolver bandmate Dave Kushner are also said to be included in the new GN'R lineup. There also may be a stadium tour coming.
