The most timely collaboration, though, was with Collin Raye, who sang the Eagles' "Desperado," which was written by Don Henley and the late Glenn Frey.

Unlike a normal tour performance, the City Winery stop was setup like a writer's round, with Ashley Monroe and songwriters Nicole Galyon and Shane McAnally remaining on stage for each song. Watch it - here.
