Megadeth Tease 'Post American World' Video

(hennemusic) Megadeth are previewing a clip from a forthcoming video for "Post American World", a track from their latest album "Dystopia." Filmed in late April, the full video is expected to be released soon. Frontman Dave Mustaine calls the song a spiritual (and riff-wise) follow-up to Megadeth's 1992 track "Symphony Of Destruction." "There are all kinds of governmental backdoor meetings and agreements that the U.S. government has with people that you and I as Joe Q. Six-Pack have no idea of the why, whens or how," Mustaine recently told the Houston Press about the song. "People don't want America everywhere. And we can be like 'Okay, screw it. We'll pull out.' And then they can see what happens." Following its release in January, "Dystopia" debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 49,000 equivalent album units. The feat marks the group's highest-charting US album since 1992's "Countdown To Extinction", which debuted and peaked at No. 2.
