(Radio.com) The classic story of Prince's basketball prowess, as related by Charlie Murphy (Eddie Murphy's brother) on Chappelle's Show has been confirmed as truth.

Micki Free, a GRAMMY winning guitarist and friend of Eddie Murphy's from his work on the Beverly Hills Cop film, confirmed the story and even played in the game in question.

In a new interview, Free confirms Murphy's story, claiming it is 100% true. "Prince took the ball and it was like Michael Jordan after that, shot after shot, like nothing but net."

He even confirms that the group ate pancakes afterwards. Refresh your memory by checking out the hilarious sketch here.
