(Prog) Leprous are planning on recording a live show in Oslo this summer for a future live CD/DVD release. They'll play the gig at Rockefeller in their homeland of Norway on June 4 - and to help them realise their dream of capturing their live performance, they've launched a crowdfunding campaign via IndieGoGo.

The band say: "Leprous has existed for almost 15 years, and have gone from being a completely unknown youth band from Notodden, Norway, to being a recognised name within the progressive metal scene.

"For quite a lot of years we've played with the thought of doing a live video and audio recording, but there have always been aspects of our live show we thought we could improve. In addition, the budget always seemed unrealistic. Now we have a show we're very proud of and we wish to eternalise it.

"Making a live recording is very expensive, especially if you want to do it properly. Therefore, we're reaching out to you, to help us realise this dream." Read more and see the funding appeal video here.
