Ozzy and Slipknot's Corey Taylor Plan Special Announcement

Let the speculation begin. Ozzy Osbourne and Corey Taylor will be making a "very special announcement" at an event in Los Angeles on Thursday, Slipknot confirmed via social media.

Slipknot announced via Facebook on Monday (May 9), "Ozzy Osbourne + Corey Taylor invite you to a very special announcement and event on Thursday May 12th at the Hollywood Palladium at Noon. No lineups prior to 7am."

The nature of the announcement has not been revealed but leading speculation is that it may be possibly be the announcement of a Ozzfest/Knotfest like music festival.

Ozzfest was a leading metal music festival for a number of years both as a tour and as stand-alone event. However, a touring festival announcement seems unlikely because Slipknot has already summer tour plans with Marilyn Manson and Of Mice & Men.
