Coldplay Release Buzz Worthy 'Up&Up' Video
.
(Radio.com) Coldplay have released a new music video for "Up&Up" which is the third single from their latest studio album "A Head Full of Dreams." The new clip re-imagines spaces in creative ways so that a volcano becomes a popcorn popper and a sponge becomes a soccer field. The video blends natural and urban settings with past and present images for something surreal and beautiful. Directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, the video is an inventive look at the unity of the planet. Coldplay looms large within that theme. Chris Martin lays on vast fields while singing and Will Champion plays drums sitting as tall as a mountain. The video seems to suggest how much the world needs harmony between animals and people, as well as people from different ethnicities. Martin sings on the chorus, "Saying we're gonna get it, get it together/ I know we're gonna get it, get it together somehow/ We're gonna get it, get it together and flow." By presenting a kind of visual flow, the video does just that. Watch it here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. |
