Squeeze Announce North American Tour
.
Squeeze have announced that they will be launching their first North American tour in over four years this fall in support of their comeback album "Cradle to the Grave," which was released late last year. The 19-date tour is scheduled to kick off on September 21st in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Scottsdale PAC and wraps up on October 17th in Boston, MA at The Wilbur. The album is the group's first new studio effort since 1998 and was born out of their 2007 reunion, which guitarist and vocalist Glenn Tilbrook says, 'was only planned as a short reunion. Things went so well, here we are nine years later." Guitarist and vocalist Chris Difford adds, 'We've grown up a lot in the last few years, musically. For the first five years back together, we were saying 'this is where we came from'. Now, this is where we are. We still love and own our past, but as musicians we needed to grow."
