(Webster) Aaron Lewis, CMA' Forever Country 50th anniversary celebration, Charlie Daniels, Jean Shepard and more are featured in the latest episode of 'The Pickup'. We were sent these details: Continuing the tradition of presenting the top stories in country music, another all-new episode of the "The Pickup" features a look inside "Forever Country," an iconic musical event to celebrate the Country Music Association's 50th Anniversary, Hillary Scott, Bill Anderson, Tanya Tucker, Crystal Gayle, The Statler Brothers and Garth Brooks. "Forever Country" is the theme of CMA's 50th Anniversary, which was a fitting name for the compilation song and music video released starring some of the top names in country music. Dolly Parton, Brooks and Dunn, Carrie Underwood, Reba, Willie Nelson, Jason Aldean and more were part of the celebration, tying together three country anthems; "I Will Always Love You," "On The Road Again," and "Take Me Home Country Roads." Aaron Lewis had a big month with the release of his newest studio album, "Sinner." The Pickup was on hand to celebrate with him and a packed house at SiriusXM's Music Row Happy Hour with Buzz Brainard at Margaritaville on Nashville's famous Broadway strip. Opry Country Classics will return to Nashville's Ryman Auditorium for a six-show run each Thursday from September 22nd through October 27th. Grand Ole Opry member Larry Gatlin will return as host. Spotlight artists for the run include Marty Stuart, Charlie Daniels Band, Connie Smith, Crystal Gayle, Lorrie Morgan, and The Time Jumpers. Additional special guests will be added each week. For more information, visit the Grand Ole Opry's website. The Pickup was on hand for Charlie Daniels' first look at the opening of his new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Charlie Daniels: Million Mile Reflections opened September 23rd and features memorabilia from throughout his amazing career. This episode of The Pickup is dedicated to the late, great Jean Shepard, "The Grand Lady of the Grand Ole Opry." "The Opry family is truly saddened by the news of Jean's passing," Opry vice president and general manager Pete Fisher said in a statement. "Although we will miss Jean's presence on the Opry stage, she has left us the wonderful gift of her music which will be remembered for generations to come."
